Spray Tan Prep & Info
Before & After your Spray Tan
Following pre and post spray tan care will help ensure your spray tan keeps it’s gorgeous, healthy glow as long as possible!

-
Day Before Spray Tan
Be sure to shower and exfoliate your skin 1-2 days prior to your appointment. Exfoliating your skin will help the spray tan product better adhere to your skin. Wax or shave any unwanted body hair, and avoid using bar soap or cream based body soap. Complete any beauty treatments prior to your appointment, such as manicures, facials, and massages.
-
Day of Spray Tan
On the day of your appointment, be sure to avoid using any oils, lotions, perfumes, and deodorant. These can cause a barrier for the product and your skin. Wear dark, loose fitted clothing before and right after your appointment, so your clothes don’t rub on the fresh spray tan.
-
Hours After Spray Tan
Right after your appointment we don’t recommend wearing leggings, jeans, sport bras, or tight fitted clothes. For 24 hours after your appointment, it’s best to avoid any moisture getting onto your skin. During your first rinse, avoid using any soap and don’t use any exfoliating products as this will rub off the tan.
Life Cycle of a Spray Tan
The life cycle of a spray tan depends on a few things, but generally comes down to if proper pre and post care guidelines are followed.
